This unit is made from stainless steel with soldered seams. It is manufactured to British Meteorological Office specifications and has a stable circular base that can be buried or fixed to the ground.
It has a 127 mm diameter brass rim and is supplied with an inner can that is easy to lift and pour.
Glass measuring cylinders are available separately.
